| Product Details: | Low – carbon steel (such as SPCC, SPTE) is used as the base material, with a pure tin layer plated on the surface. Coating: The tin coating amount is usually 1.1 – 11.2g/m² (classified into E1 – E4 grades according to international standards), providing uniform anti – corrosion protection. Specifications:Thickness: 0.1 – 0.6mm (commonly 0.15 – 0.3mm). Width: 10 – 1000mm (custom – cut available) Inner diameter: Φ508mm or Φ610mm, outer diameter: Φ800 – 1600mm. |
| Product Characteristics: | 1. Corrosion Resistance：The tin layer isolates air and moisture. Its rust resistance is superior to that of galvanized steel strips, making it suitable for humid environments such as food packaging. 2. Weldability：Tin has a low melting point (232°C), showing good fluidity during welding. It is suitable for high – frequency resistance welding, for example, in the can – making industry. 3. Workability：The base material undergoes annealing treatment, with a high elongation rate (≥30%). It can be stamped, bent, and stretched into shape without cracking. 4. Surface Quality：The coating is smooth and uniform (with controllable gloss). It can be directly printed or coated, meeting food – grade contact safety standards such as FDA. 5. Environmental Friendliness：It is non – toxic and harmless, compliant with regulations such as RoHS (lead – free, cadmium – free, etc.) and REACH (chromium – free passivation process). |
| Manufacturing process： | 1. Substrate Pretreatment Pickling: Use hydrochloric acid to remove the oxide scale, then wash with water and dry. Cold Rolling: Roll to the target thickness (with an accuracy of ±0.01mm), and the surface roughness Ra ≤ 0.8μm. Annealing: Use a bell – type furnace or continuous furnace (at 650 – 750℃) to relieve stress and improve ductility. 2. Tin Plating Electroplating (the mainstream process): Use stannous phenolsulfonate as the electrolyte, with a current density of 10 – 50A/dm², enabling precise control of the tin layer. Hot – dip Plating: Immerse the steel strip in molten tin (at 260 – 300℃). The coating is relatively thick but with slightly lower uniformity. 3. Post – treatment Passivation: Use a chromium – free passivation solution (such as titanate) to form a protective film and enhance corrosion resistance. Oil Coating: Spray palm oil or DOS oil film electrostatically (0.5 – 3mg/m²) to prevent scratches during transportation. 4. Finishing： Slitting: Slit with a slitting line, and the burrs ≤ 0.02mm.
